Advisory

Research-led Advisory in Travel & Hospitality

Assetreal undertakes commissioned research and analysis addressing defined questions concerning strategy, competitive economics, financial performance, capital allocation and valuation across travel and hospitality.

Assignments combine company and industry research with strategic, economic and financial analysis, examining how operating assumptions and strategic choices affect business value.

Work is structured around clearly defined questions rather than broad consulting mandates, with conclusions grounded in evidence, analysis and valuation.

What Advisory Covers

Commissioned Research

Research addressing a defined company, industry or thematic question within travel and hospitality.

Assignments may examine company economics, competitors, industry structure, business models, structural change and the evidence underlying strategic or valuation assumptions.

Strategic Analysis

Analysis of competitive position, value drivers and the economic consequences of strategic choices.

Work may examine market structure, sources of competitive advantage, growth, margins, reinvestment and the durability of economic returns.

Valuation

Analysis of how strategic choices, competitive economics and financial assumptions translate into business value.

Work may include valuation modelling, scenario analysis, market-implied expectations, economic returns, capital allocation and sensitivity to alternative assumptions.

How Assignments Are Structured

Advisory work begins with a defined analytical question.

The scope is agreed around the evidence required to address that question, the companies or industries to be examined and the form of analysis appropriate to the assignment.

1. Defined Question

The assignment is framed around a specific company, industry, strategic or valuation question rather than an open-ended consulting mandate.

2. Evidence

Analysis draws principally on public company disclosures, industry information, financial and market data and Assetreal’s existing research. Client-supplied information may be incorporated where relevant.

3. Analysis

The work may combine qualitative research, financial analysis, valuation modelling, comparative analysis, scenario development and quantitative methods.

4. Output

Findings are presented in a form appropriate to the assignment, which may include a research report, analytical memorandum, presentation, model or workshop.
